SPKLU: The lynchpin of Indonesia’s EV ecosystem SPKLU is short for Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station and is the official infrastructure that Indonesia has mandated to facilitate the shift to electric mobility. An SPKLU constitutes a regulated facility such as a power outlet, as defined in Minister of Energy Regulation (Permen ESDM) No. 1/2023, and may only be operational once it has a Sertifikat Laik Operasi (SLO) safety certificate.
